Golf Tips For Beginners

I’m going to provide some valuable golf tips for beginners in this article. There are many golf tips lessons on the web that you may come across. Some good and some not so good. In the beginning, be careful on what you listen to and what you watch.

I started playing golf about 4 years ago. I am 34 years old and I regret not picking up the sticks at an earlier age. If you go to the Driving range frequently, recommended, don’t listen to others unless they are certified instructors. Many Golfers have opinions and they will sometimes let you know about them. I use to say, “Thanks for the advice, but I’m practicing on something.” They usually get the hint. Finally, don’t bring any Wii golf tips with you to the range!

My best friend who is a 3 handicap gave me the best golf advice a buddy could give when I first started. He told me to stop wasting my money on golf rounds and start investing in golf lessons. He told me this game is too difficult to learn on your own and many people end up quitting in less than 1 year. I didn’t want to be a golf causality. This was the best golf tip I received in the beginning.

In the beginning, there is so much going through our heads then we stand over that small ball. Be careful, don’t get paralyzed. Don’t analyze your golf swing too much in the beginning. I use to take a not pad with me to the range. Whenever something felt good after hitting the ball, I would write down a quick note to remember how I was positioned. It helped to reference these notes on my next practice session.

I hope these golf tips helped. Golf is truly an amazing sport. It opens up so many doors in your life. I travel with my clubs and meet new people all over the country. Being outside for 4 hours doing something you enjoy is priceless. Hit em Straight!
